We made it!
Well hopefully you all made it through the weekend. I am actually spending the night alone tonight. My wife is out with her sisters and mom for the New Moon movie. They couldn't get tickets until tonight so here I am. I am actually kind of glad because I get to watch sunday night football while she is gone. Max is asleep and now I get a little quiet time. We will see how she is when she gets home. She might be in a daze for a while but we will cope. I know its a little early to be planning but I think the next movie is scheduled to come out in June or July of 2010 so start preparing yourselves now. Take care Brethren.

A lonely night
Tonight a lot of us will be sleeping alone. I know that now more than ever we need each other. Here is a couple ideas of things you could do while your wife is out with another man.
1. play XBOX. If you don't have one go buy one
2. watch Rocky. If you want a good love story, you can't beat rocky. I'm not talking about Rocky and Adrian, I'm talking about Rocky and Mickey. If you say you didn't get choked up during Rocky 3 when Mickey dies then I call you a dirty liar!
3. Blow something up. It doesn't matter what because it won't matter you will feel better regardless.
4. Sleep. I can't think of anything better to do at 2:00 in the morning.
5. Make some Anti-Twilight posters and protest out front of your local movie theater.
6. Watch any movie with Jessica Alba. I would recommend "into the blue" because she runs around in a bikini the whole film. It won't fill that hole in your heart but you can forget about the pain of being forgotten for an hour or so.
7. Shoot guns. get good because remember that werewolves can be killed with a silver bullet.
Whatever it is you decide to do tonight (or the next couple of nights deoending on your wife) remember that you are not alone. there are mony others just like you trying to cope with the fact that they have to sleep by themselves tonight. If there are some others in your neighborhood you could get together and have a candle light vigil in honor of those forgotten.
remember to staystrong and I will check up on all of you tomorrow.

Thanksgiving Vs. Christmas
I walked into Target tonight to buy some stuff and I was troubled. As soon as I walked in I saw christmas trees, decorations and christmas music. Why am I troubled you ask? you're such a scrooge you say. well let me ask you something, What happened to Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, you meet with your family, eat food and have fun. The best part of it all, you don't have to stress about presents or money or getting a great deal. I remember a time when no one worried about christmas until the day after thanksgiving. Then the decorations went up, Then you went shopping, and then you started to play christmas music. It seem to me that nowadays we just have the other holidays just to mark when we can start getting ready for christmas. Now the candles in our pumpkins barely have time to go out before we drag out the christmas tree. My question to all is why? why are we so obsessed with christmas? I enjoy a good present but lets take a break from the riff raff. Lets stop and sit down with our families and be thankful for things. I know that thanksgiving becomes a busy day with all to cooking and football, but I know that whenever we sit down together and just have time to talk and laugh and visit, we become happier and grateful for what we have. That is why I love thanksgiving. It's not because I get presents or anything, it's because I can be grateful for what I have. So maybe this year we can hold off on christmas for just a few more weeks so we can focus on what we really should be grateful for.

First post
With the new Twilight movie coming out in a few weeks, I decided to create this blog. When the books came out and the first movie premiered, I decided that I should create a support group for those of us who are neglected and forgotten. I call my support group "husbands against twilight" or HAT for short. As I walked around work and home I saw countdown calendars and heard the jibber jabber of love struck women obsessed with this sparkly guy named Edward, I decided that there was now an even greater need for someone to turn to for support.
So this is a place where you can visit and understand that you are not the only one suffering from this aweful pandemic we call the twilight saga. Visit me frequently and remember no matter how many nights you go without dinner or how many days your kids miss their baths, we have each other.
